Canterbury Earthquake (Social Security Act) Order (No 2) 2010 Amendment Order 2014

The Order in Council provides that the amended definition of "premises" for the purposes of Accommodation Supplement will remain in force until the end of 19 April 2016. The Canterbury Earthquake (Social Security Act) Order (No 2) 2010 Amendment Order 2014 proposes that the amendment to the definition of Accommodation Supplement be continued until 19 April 2016 to allow people to continue to receive financial assistance where necessary. The Review Panel made a recommendation to the Minister for Canterbury Earthquake Recovery and the Minister for Social Development on the draft Order on 18 March 2014. The Ministry of Social Development letter dated 11 March 2014 contains information about the draft Order that the Review Panel considered in making its report and recommendation. Date in force/expires 1 April 2014/19 April 2016.
